Yes, and I wish I could get it on video! My little Pomeranian "attacks" her bed when she is hungry and knows she is about to be fed. She pulls little mouthfuls of fur out of the lining.

Before I give her the food dish, I have to make sure she doesn't have any fur in her mouth - and sometimes it looks like she has a little beard, lol. I think it's adorable, and I laugh every time even though she's done this for years. We had a dachshund when I was a kid who used to hide little milkbones in people's shoes.

She preferred my dad's bedroom slippers, but if that closet was closed she'd walk around until she found one that was open, and "hide" her treat. I have no idea if she ever went back to get them, or why she did that, but we thought it was really cute, and we'd always laugh when someone would go to put a shoe on and find a dog biscuit. Animals are so much fun.

I can't imagine our lives without them.

Thanks for the stories. I love hearing stories like this. And, yes, I totally agree that life would be a drag without those furry little creatures.

It's not like she's able to turn it on herself... It's just that (almost) every time I get up from a chair or the couch, she runs ahead of me and heads towards the bathroom... I know she's telling me 'follow me because I'm thirsty'! She jumps up onto the edge of the sink... I turn on the cold water to just a low trickle... she puts her paw (at an angle) under the running water at such an angle that it runs down and across her paw, then she licks the water from her paw. Sometimes (but not very often) she just licks the water right from the faucet.

I've had her 7 years now and she's always done this... and, yes, I still chuckle at her actions... and she drives me crazy with always wanting to go for drinks! It can be only 5 minutes that pass but as soon as I get up from my chair it's 'follow me' all over again! LOL 'Ya gotta love it!

Cats don't like tap water or plastic bowls. I give my cat reverse osmosis water or they drink rain water in the birdbath or use to drink from the fish bowl.

They drank out of toilet sometimes....when they were new to my house. They may have thought the toilet was a birdbath. I have to keep the lid down.

You have to wonder sometimes why cats do what they do! LOLI keep the lid down on my toilet anyway because my kitty sometimes uses it as a 'step' to get up to the sink. Thanks for the stories.

My 11 yr old weimaraner is such a weirdo he ONLY drinks from the upstairs tub he turns the water on himself by licking the cold water knob(if only he knew how to turn it off! ) or the downstairs toilet if it freshly flushed (kinda gross and I hope its okay but its the only way he drinks) if its not freshly flushed he will stand there till someone comes and flushes it for him hes big time spoiled , he also chatters his teeth when he gets REALLY REALLY excited . I live for my BLUE no matter how bad a day I have seeing him always makes it better :) .

LOL Your stories gave me a smile. Thanks for sharing. Karen7750 2 days ago .

All 3 of my cats also love to drink out of the faucet, they will follow me to the bathroom and take turns sitting on the edge of the sink for a drink. Zaboo loves to carry things around, specially packing popcorn, if he finds one he'll pick it up and carry it around in his mouth for up to an hour, very nonchalant, he'll sit looking out the window with the popcorn hanging out of his mouth, walk around the condo, sit with me on the couch, never puts it down, never plays with it , he just carries it. At bedtime, all 3 cats sleep with me, once I'm settled Zaboo has to walk completely around me on the bed 3 times before he will settle down on his blankie.

Gabby has to go find one of her toys downstairs, once she gets it the yeowling starts, and for 10-15 minutes later she'll finally bring it up on the bed and drop it by my pillow, then she'll go to her blankie and go to sleep. I often wake up with 3-4 toys piled up by my pillow.

My cat is an indoor cat but while we sit outside, he jumps up on the roof ( we own a trailer) and he jumps from roof to roof of our neighbors to be nosey..when its time to come in, we whistle and he goes right in the house..the neighbors don't mind and will come out to tell him "hi" :)..he doesn't like the faucet but will dip his paw in a glass of water and then lick it off :) .

Love your story! And I'd love to see your kitty jumping from trailer top to trailer top. It sounds hilarious. It's nice that your neighbors don't mind.

I like this thread.. =)i have 6 cats. 3 are adults.. 1 adult is pure black and 1 adult is pure white.. sometimes I would see them lying/curling up to each other and they look like a yinyang 3d figure.. the other adult - looks like a tabby cat that always lies on her back like a human..one kitten likes to hunt/follow my mouse pointer on the monitor..

Glad you like the thread. I love reading the stories about some of the antics and habits that some pets have. Thanks for the reply.

I had a cat that only ate soft food with her paws, and dry food she scooped off the plate with her paws, and ate the kibble slowly and one at a time.

A.. That sounds adorable! Thanks for sharing. Karen7750 2 days ago .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
